The architectural splendor of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is a vivid remainder of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is a vivid reminder of the capital in the capital in the 16th and early 17th centuries. Visit Taj Mahal (Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday), a poem in white marble, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Day 02: Agra - Nagar - Alwar Alwar, among the Rajput principalities was the closest to imperial Delhi. People of this region were daring adventurers. They did not submit to alien rule; they rebelled. In 1771 A.D. , Pratap Singh , a Kachhawaha Rajput belonging to the same clan as the one which ruled Jaipur won Alwar from Mughals and founded a principality of his own. A historic and eminent fort guards its highest hill and is reminiscent of a regal way of life. Alwar is surrounded by the Aravali Hills and has a unique recognition because of Sariska Van Abhyaranya , Bala-Quila and Silished Etc.! Overnight stay at hotel in Alwar. Sariska Tiger Reserve lies in the Alwar district of the Rajasthan state
of India. It is prime tiger country. The forest is typical dry deciduous,
dramatically changing with the change in season. The terrain is undulating
plateau lands and wide valleys. Overnight stay at Sariska Palace. Day 04: Sarsika - Shahpura Shahpura was the tazimiThikana of Shekhawat Sub clan. It was the head seat (Tikai Thikana) of Shekhawat. Present head of the family or present ruler of Shahpura is Rao Shri Rajender Singh Shekhawat Ji Saheb. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 05: Shapura - Khandela - Nawalgarh Nawalgarh was encircled all around by the high Parkota (walls) comprising of four Pols (gates) in different directions, namely Agoona Darwaja, Bawadi Darwaja (in north), Mandi Darwaja and Nansa Darwaja, each gate has iron doors. Bala Kila Fort situated in the center of the Thikana and Fatehgarh Fort situated out side of the Parkota as an Out Post. The market place of the town and layout of the havelis indicates that the city was well planned before construction. Nawalgarh was considered to be the most modern towns of Shekhawati.The Rulers of Nawalgarh belongs to Shekhawat sub-clan Overnight stay at hotel. Day 06: Nawalgarh - Mandawa The medieval fort of Mandawa gradually rises on the horizon like a mirage. A painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar. A fine view of the town can be seen from the terrace of the castle of Mandawa. Notables among the havelis are Chokhani, Saraf, Goenka and Ladia havelis. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 07: Mandawa - Roopangarh Overnight stay at hotel. Day 08: Roopangarh - Pushkar Pushkar is a wonderful tourist destination to explore and enjoy the rustic charm of Rajasthan. This place is also known for its Brahma Temple that is believed to be one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma in the country. Every November, the sleepy little township of Pushkar comes alive with a riot of colors and a frenzied burst of activity. The occasion: Pushkar Fair. Very few, if at all any, fairs in the world can match the liveliness of Pushkar. Most people associate the Pushkar Fair with the world's largest camel fair. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 09: Pushkar Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight halt. Day 10: Pushkar - Jaipur Overnight will be at hotel in Jaipur. Day 11: Jaipur En route, make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). Hawa Mahal is a sample of the perfection of the architecture. Hawa Mahal was built with the pink & red sandstone, beautifully carved and outlined with white border and motif Amber Fort is situated on the crest of a hill seven miles north of Jaipur is Amber, capital of the Kuchwaha Rajputs from 1037 to 1728. Man Singh I built it in a style to rival Mughal grandeur and opulence. In afternoon visit City Palace, a combination of conventional Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. City Palace complex has more than a few palatial structures. City Palace is a huge complex, which houses many courtyards, gardens and buildings. Also visit Jantar Mantar, built between 1716. It is located within the city palace. Jantar Mantar contains a collection of instruments for observing the movements of sun, moon, planets and stars. It was built to develop the interest of the people in Astronomy. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 12: Jaipur - Delhi Reach by afternoon and after Farewell Dinner and freshening up - proceed
straight to the airport for flight back home with sweet memories of India.
