Exotic Nepal Tour

Day 02: Kathmandu - Chitwan
After breakfast sightseeing tour including Patan, the "City of Fine Arts". Visit Durbar Square, Krishna Temple, built in 1637 AD, which holds a commanding position in the palace complex of Patan, it is the only temple in Nepal that has 21 spires and is entirely made of stone, Hiranyavarna Mahavira - the Golden Temple of Lord Buddha and the Tibetan Handcrafts Center.

After noon sightseeing tour of Kathmandu also called the 'City of Glory’. Visit includes, Durbar Square, Kasthamandap - said to be constructed from a single piece wood. Kumari Ghar - Home to the World's only living Goddess. A short visit to Bhairab - the God of destruction, Taleju Temple - built in 1549 AD and Hanuman Dhoka Palace. Thereafter visit Swoyambunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the World, which is majestically set high on a Hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. It is nicknamed as the monkey temple after the tribe of monkeys that look after the hill and often amuses the visitors.

Day 03: Kathmandu
After breakfast sightseeing tour of the medieval city of Bhaktapur, also called the "City of Devotees" where you will meander down narrow lanes past centuries old homes and temples. The tour will begin with a vist to Durbar Square, The Golden Gate, Places of 55 Windows, Lion's Gate. The Nyatpola Temple, the tallest of its kind in Nepal, Bhairab Temple, the Pottery Centre and Dattratraya Temple.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits alongside the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the courtyard of the temple, whereas tourists can see the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River. Afterwards, visit Boudhanath, a Buddhist Stupa said to be one of the largest in the world. This massive structure stands tall with four pairs of eyes each facing the four cardinal directions, watching for righteous behaviour of mankind and for human prosperity.

Day 04: Kathmandu - Dhulikhel
In the morning leave for the mountain resort of Dhulikhel - on the skirts the southern side of Bhaktapur, down to Banepa, towards the Tibetan border is a hill station called Dhilikhel. It is also famous for the short treks. Its population is Newar, although there are people of many other groups in the surrounding villages. This place was gathering point of hippies who even planned to build their own temple here. This place is also surrounded by Harisiddhi temple, Vishnu Temple, Krishna Temple and Bhagwati Temple, Shiva Temple and Famous Kali temple. People often spend the night in one of the lodges here to witness the sun set and sun rise. It is about an hours drive from Kathmandu. The view of Mount Everest from the resort is breath taking.

Day 05: Dhulikhel - Kathmandu - Pokhara
Return to Kathmandu after a short trekking tour down hill to visit the Newari villages around Dhulikhel. Reach Kathmandu and transfer to the airport for flight to Pokhara in the Annapurna chain of mountains. Upon arrival at Pokhara airport transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Pokhara is part of a once vibrant trade route extending between India and Tibet. To this day, mule trains can be seen camped on the outskirts of the town, bringing goods to trade from remote regions of the Himalaya. This is the land of Magars and Gurungs, hardworking farmers and valorous warriors who have earned worldwide fame as Gurkha soldiers.

Day 06: Pokhara
After breakfast at your hotel leave for a short city tour including a boat ride on Phewa lake where from you have the best view of the Fish Tail Mountain (Machcha pucherey). Visit the temple in the middle of the lake to pay obeisance to goddess Kali.

Day 07: Pokhara - Chitwan National Park
After breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park to view Tigers. The Royal Chitwan National Park, established in 1973, provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna –read further for more details. The wildlife and the landscape are not as breathtaking as those found in Africa but still, the experience will stand out.

Reach by early noon and in the afternoon nature walk to acquaint with the jungle life here in Nepal.

Day 08: Chitwan National Park
Full day reserved for game viewing inside the park. Here you will find some of the most exciting safari destinations in the world. You will be going into deep jungle on elephant back or four-wheel drive vehicle to view wild animals in their natural habitat.

Day 09: Chitwan National Park – Kathmandu - Departure
After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. Later in the evening transfer to airport to connect flight for next destination.
